CAPABILITY STATEMENT

Core Competencies

Groundspeed Ops is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) primarily focused on aviation security.  The #1 priority is to provide an economically feasible, safe, secure, and sustainable way to counter threats to the public and the commercial airline industry.  To achieve this, Groundspeed Ops is designing, manufacturing, and testing a patented Modular Aircraft Secondary Barrier Cart (MASBC). The MASBC is a cockpit barrier designed to be more cost efficient and sustainable than existing barriers.  It’s also designed to counter an array of threats not considered by other barrier systems.

Groundspeed Ops owner, Sean Spradlin, leverages a 21-year U.S. Air Force career to serve as a consultant to the aerospace defense industry and Department of Defense (DoD).  Specific areas include Foreign Military Sales/Direct Commercial Sales (FMS/DCS) as well as Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C2ISR).

Mr. Spradlin is also a certified motorsports management professional forging new avenues into aerospace-to-automotive crossover technologies for use in motorsports, military and first responder vehicles.
